Car

The total distance from Calais to Kožlí is less than 1100 kms and is approximately 11 hours by car.

From Calais (F) you drive past Dunkirk, Bruges (B) , Brussels and Hasselt to Maastricht (NL). Via Aachen (D) you reach Cologne and then you drive via Nuremberg (D) to Waldhausen/Rozvadov (border), Pilsen direction Pisek (E49).

Arriving at Blatná you successively see the signs of Blatná, end Blatná and again Blatná. At the 2nd sign indicating Blatná (centre) you turn left. On the left you see the water castle of Blatná, on the right the Penny market and the Lidl. You continue straight on and follow the signs for Praha and Mirovice.

After 8 kilometres along narrower roads and through the villages of Skalicany and Vahlovice you get to Myštice. Here at the restaurant La But on the lake you keep on going along this road with a bend to the right. After 1 kilometre you now see:  Kožlí 1 km. Here you turn right.

At the bus stop you turn right across the little bridge. You are now at the Guesthouse.

From České Budějovice or Písek you follow the E49 direction Pilsen. You turn off at Blatná (centre). For the rest see description above (the distance Písek – Kožlí  is 20 kms.)

From Prague you follow  motorway 4 direction Strakonice.. You turn off at road number 19 (Rožmitál). Past Mirovice you take the road direction Blatná.

After 8 kilometres you reach Kozli (the distance Prague – Kožlí  is 80 kms and takes less than an hour by car).

Although the address is Kožlí  9, Blatná, we mean the village of Kožlí, 8 kms outside Blatná.

The are various villages called Kožlí  in the Czech Republic!  Fill in Myštice – Kožlí  or Blatná on your input screen. Do you want to make use of coordinates? Fill in : N 49 27 22  E  13 58 44.

Train or bus

Both Blatná and Mirovice have  a train station where also regional buses stop. From Blatná you take the bus in the direction of Mirovice (from Mirovice direction Blatná).

In Kožlí the bus stops close to Guesthouse Kožlí (both from Blatná and Mirovice the distance is 8 kms.)
